Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Sekitar Obyek Wisata Pantai Baron

Abstract

Baron Beach is one of the popular beaches in Gunungkidul, the area with an area of 1,485.36 km2. With 21 km2 panoramic line, Gunungkidul become the main destination of tourists going on vacation to Yogyakarta. Empowerment is one of the strengths to build a region or village, which prioritizes participation and community participation as its main capital. Empowerment models will make development a common obligation between the government and its people. Development needs to make empowerment as a value and choice of policy, as well as social learning. The type and nature of research conducted by the author is qualitative descriptive which basically the type of research that decides, analyzes and classifies the data to be studied. According to Y. Slamet (2006:7), descriptive research is to describe the social phenomena under study. Research describes a symptom based on the indicators that he made the basis of the presence or absence of a symptom studied.
